I need help deciding which exhaust to put on my 99 Integra GSR. I'm pretty set between the Apexi N1 or the Greddy EVO. I'm thinking about going with the Apexi N1 just because I've heard sound clips of both and I like it better. I want the deepest, best sounding exhaust of the two and anyone that could me out with this it would be appreciated.

I went with the Thermal exhaust. It is the Stealth model. It has a nice deep tone, not too loud, and made of stainless. It was made to give more power in the low to mid rpms, while still improving the upper.I was very happy with the power increase.I found it a bit more powerful then the rotted-off EVO I had to replace with this.If you don't have a real high hp car, and don't plan on going crazy with the mods, I think this is a more practical exhaust. If you are , go with the Apexi over the Greddy. Just my opinion though. |

i got a buddy with the Apexi N1 on his civic with a GSR swap and i love it, but i would have to say my favorite is the Apexi WS. If i had to choose between the Apexi N1 and the GReddy Evo, i would choose the N1.

Yeah, I'd take the N1. There's just something about Apex'i that I like. Plus it looks better.

My friend has an HKS Hiper on his 97 ls, its nice but not low enough for me. His arch nemisis' with the exact same setup, except for a greddy evo exhaust is much quieter. So its up to you, if you like loud or quiet.

I decided to go with the Apexi N1. I ordered it on Sunday and ended up paying about 460$ for it. I'm planning on getting it in within the next few days and hopefully installing it this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out and my opinion of it.........

I got my Apexi N1 exhaust today for my GSR. I ordered it on a Sunday and it didn't come in until the next Monday which kind of sucked having to wait that long. I'm not in any hurry though so it's cool. UPS guy came by today though and left a note saying he tried to come by but somebody had to sign for it. That really pissed me off cause I was looking forward to it when I got home. I picked it up though so things are good.
Out of the box I have to say it looks great. Very straight through design and lightweight. It has a really nice polished muffler and came with the silencer. It seems really well made from what I've seen so far. I'll try to get it on sometime this week, if not this weekend and let everybody know how it goes. (I'm very seriously thinking about going turbo for my car. The Apexi is a a 2.25 inch exhaust I believe. If I do go turbo is that going to be a major problem for me. I hear people say you should get about a 3 inch exhaust for turbo applications. If I have to though I will probably just get a shop to custom make me a midsection for my exhaust and keep the N1 look.) |
