Which car?

I am going to be getting a new car within the next few years. I was wonder which to get. I want something with a turbo(preferably) an engine that can handle mods. Here are a few I was thinking of. Feel free to add others.

Nissan 350z - Pros- Good handling decent power. -cons N/a and doesnt respond well to mods)

2005 Mustang Mach 1- Pros - Immense power and torque and nive looks- cons- Cant handle vey well. Vey common

Lancer Evolution- Pros- Turbo, nice handling and speed- Four door. can't shake slightly 2f2f look.

Subaru Wrx STi- same as evo

Pontiac GTo- same as mustang except possibly better drivetrain.

I would like a car that can run low 13s high 12s and still compete in autox.

Mustang Mach-1 won't be around for 2005 most likely. The Mach-1 is only available for 2003 and 2004 pretty much as a gap-filler between the N/A GT and the S/C Cobra. That Cobra 32v DOHC v8 under the hood is n/a and responds very well to mods, plus it is probably cheaper to mod it than say something like an EVO.

Just thought I would mention that the Mustang will be completely redesigned for 2005.

The redesigned mustang is the one I am considering. I think the current one is too outdated. (platform wise)

If you want to autox then I don't think the Mustang is the best choice. Go with the EVO.
