Colored gauge bulbs?
Does anybody know any companies that make colored gauge bulbs and/or places that sell them? I was looking for blue bulbs to replace the white ones since blue lights don't bother my eyes at night and I don't really care for indiglo or reverse indiglo gauges.
My gauge cluster has seven gauge bulbs (four at 1.4w and three at 2w). The service manual doesn't state the size number though - just the wattage. This is for a 1995 Del Sol. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

just "paint" them with a blue marker ..... that's what we did before companies started making them in colors

because they are leds though, they have a angle of light, instead of just spreading it everywhere. try getting the single led wedge base bulbs. you really just have to experiment with things to get it right. |
