Question Which rims do u prefer? Male or Female?

Whut kind of rims do u guys prefer? Male Or Female? IMO i prefer female because there are no spurs and u cant brake anything if u push the wheel in too hard, i dont prefer males is because there is a high chance of breaking the spurs.

I prefer female style as well. It is far easier on female-style wheels to adjust for axle length.

Just my

sometimes i like both depending the the kit im making. Ive had some male that will not go in and some female give me crap also. I guess male would be my overall choice.

Male style rims allow for better brake detail. I'm always a lot more impressed with the brakes on cars that have male connection, female connecting wheels usually have awful brakes to make room for the wheel. And if I would choose to display the car with a wheel removed, well....

i prefer to have the rims that I like for that perticular car fit without modification. but if all the companies were going to standardize the male/female thing to one or the other I'd go with male for basically the same reasons willimo stated

female. just for the purpose if i ever want to take the rims off that particular car the females just twist off, but the males might break.
