I got inspired

While surfing through this forum, checking out everyone drawings in the past pages, and reading all the coments I came across something that has inspired me to draw.

I dno but for some reason stuff like this...
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t2209.html
...inspires me to draw! So here's a 30 minute throw down, of what the artist was trying to accomplish (maybe not). Same as his I made my rear high, and the headlight corners sharp and pointing up. Drawing in multi colors. I dislike convertable cars, so I made mine a coupe (sorry).

After I was done with it, it reminded me a lot like the original vette, which is what I was trying to do, but I wanted to make a baby vette. The rear throws off a sense the Modena 360 body -- that I wasn't trying to do.

Enjoy.

Please, feel free to comment or critisize, but do not comment with the following: This is so much better then vettemaan's! or in any way related.

Without his drawing, there wouldnt me mine.

Thank you.

First I want to say it is way better than I could do.

I am no designer by any means; I just think the height of the B-pillars A-pillars what ever you want to call them should be slightly taller. The windows seem to skinny to me.

Anyway

That is a sweet ride.

LOL, what's a B-Pillar or A-Pillar? Do you mean the hood line?

Anyways, I though this was the end of the project, but I dropped MS Paint and brought the drawing over to Photoshop. I got different rims now, realistic rotors and pads -- all individually picked out, sized, and shaded. Here's the progress...

No worries, kids. I will finish it some day!

Sorry, haven't had the time to fool around with my new project -- been working on my real car.. he-he! Anyways, I think I'm having a bit of a problem correctly shading this thing. Please comment with any critisizm. I mostly prefer to hear what you see wrong with it. Previous comments (even though arent reflected yet) are highly under consideration. Oh and as you notice it's no longer looking like a vette! But I got this look while playing with the headlight -- I like it -- so I'm gonna keep it

P.S. This isn't the final render.

I hope not. you need to work at those selections or whatnot, they are jagged. Other than that it's very nice, next you should take your hand at a 3/4 shot.

If you're talking about the roof line, side windows, and windshield. That's there for reference from a drawing I did earlier in MS Paint (see earlier posts on this thread).

Yeh, it's far from finished.

Hey Malix
That car is pretty tight.
I like headlight w/ ground efx. It makes the care look very aggressive.

Here's an update! I got the front finished.

Sorry to bring this topic from several pages back, I haven't had much time to work on this, nor is this update shows a lot work done.
