Just remove the muffler and weld a straight pipe. Instant performance and probably louder than any performance muffler (can't gurantee you'll pass emissions though). Otherwise anything from APC is probably absurdly loud.

Serously though, don't focus solely on making your car louder. Noise doesn't always mean performance. Get a decent brand muffler and the loud factor will take care of itself, especially if you start doing other things to your car such as a better header (that rhymed! ), high-flow catalytic converter, and cat-back system.

What kind of car do you drive? Maybe some people can make a more educated suggestion if we know what you're looking to modify.

The loudest exhaust system that you can get is running a 5zigen turbo app. muffler and have someone put in custom 2.5in. piping so that they can get the straightest flow through to the muffler. My bro has it and hes by far louder than any import around here. Or if you really want to go illegal, get the Teardrop exhaust system, which is the loudest I've heard. I've heard it tested on a car at 115db, damn thats loud. But with this problem comes cops, cops, cops. I've gotten three fix it tickets for excessive exhaust noise....bastards. I went with GReddy now, low deep tone with great gains.

Don't you people care that your car disturbs people with in a thousand foot radius of it. Don't you feel guilty driving something in a residential neighborhood at night that generates 115db? Why would you want your car to sound like a man with bad gas holding a megaphone next to his butt?

I just don't get it...

Edit: Corrected Typo

Personally, I prefer a quieter, deeper-toned exhaust. My roommate's got an exhaust from Vibrant that's got a nice, deep, quiet tone to it which I like. It only gets loud when he punches it, but that's usually reserved for the track.

Right now, I have a stock muffler. My engine is hella louder than my exhaust when I floor it. Got pretty darn loud after my cold air intake was installed.
