progress: lifted jeep cherokee

Been working on this for a while now. I don't work on models that much. Not much to say except I lifted the suspension. I think it makes the kit look that much more. Here are the pics...

Thats totally awesome. Can you share how you made those shocks? They look wicked awesome. The rims and tires look really good on there too.

The tires and rims are from the 1/32 motorized wild willy jr. from tamiya. I made the shocks by taking the tube from an ink pen, drained the ink then took a nail and cut it to size and thats it. I also finished the interior look at pics... also a little size comparison.

i though about using the springs from pens on my bronco (check in the subforum), but i figured they might be too flimsy. Im still not sure if i'll convert them.

i completed the engine bay and attached the interior to the chasis. Will paint the body sometime this week.
