LS1 or LT1?
I was wondering if I could put a LS1 or LT1 engine in a grand am (2 door, most likely 98-04) with no problems and how much would it be if possible.......?

ls1 is better b/c it is easier to get more power out of it, and it still gets good milage. not that milage is a factor i'm sure but that i what i heard. that is what all the camaro guys put in i guess.

i dont see where anyone said it was gonna drop right in
i was figureing this car was gonna be turned into some kind of pro street type car or some kind of race car with gutted interior. this is gonna be a huge project i would assume. gonna have to put in an axel, driveshaft, change the way every part of the engine bay is configured. probably about a $10k project. but you were right...... it is gonna be fun
