Best & cheapest operating car owned

You all can say what you like about a Geo Metro, but I owned a 93,bought it new for $6500.00. Over a period of 114,000 miles I replaced the right headlight, two sets of tires, three sparkplugs which looked as good as the new ones I put in and wiper blades. It never failed to start during winter or summer. Was great in snow and on icy roads.
No matter how I drove it I averaged 47MPG.On two seperate trips it averaged 59.4 & 59.6 MPG. You can't beat that with a stick.

You're right - you can't beat that with a stick. The stick doesn't get any better then 20mpg

Those little buggers have always been reliable little cars. Way to small and slow for my taste, but very competent for their price.
