I've never heard anyone suggest nuking a huricane would do any good. Sounds like they set up their own straw man.

There was a stiff breeze blowing here last night,so I took my air rifle outside and fired off a few rounds at it.


It's still windy,should I have used a bigger gun?

That's stupid - you can't stop a hurricane with fire power! You have to catch it in a net, and then give it a sedative, and while it's sleeping freeze it and cut it to put into jars, then you sell the jars of hurricane to tourists.
