Questions to the masters of drag racing

Which of these cars would be fastest in a 1/4?

Fastest to slowest?

How fast?

Acura NSX
Skyline R32 GTR
Skyline R33 GTR
Skyline R34 GTR
Mazda RX-7
Viper GT3
Ferrari 550
Nissan S15
Porche 911

and just for fun, think that each of these cars have $15k in them

Actually stock vs. stock...

The Viper GTS is the fastest here...narrowly beating out the 911 Turbo

15k...that's so vague...it can be 15k NA or 15k FI (forced induction)...so it's just too hard to say...

You should put some years on those cars. It would make a difference.

I could go look up the numbers but thats not worth it.

W/15K in them you are looking at a race between any skyline (4WD) and the RX-7 for top spots because they are both very turbo friendly.
The NSX, Ferrari, and Porsche are to expensive to make a lot faster, 15K wouldn't really get you started.
The Viper and the S15 would probably end up pretty close together not far behind the Skyline and RX-7. The viper because it is so fast to start with, and the S15 because it has a good light chassis, and for 15K you can put in a impressive Skyline engine or really prep the SR20DET already in it.

Not hardly. The R32, R33, and R34 all beat the Honda NSX out of the box in drag racing. The R32 being the quickest of the GTR's. The Honda NSX that was tested was the JDM version which is the true NSX as produced originally.

Vipers can get 600rwhp-700rwhp from the Roe supercharger kit (8K?).......That, along with some meaty tires, would be good for low 10's.

Vipers can get into 9's using Nitrous, I believe RSI makes a package for 10K which hit 9.8 or something like that.

I know it's not listed, but someone should put the viper srt-10 in there. It's just not right w/o it. Plus you really do need to put years, and specifics. there are so many different variables... plus are you looking for quickness or speed in the 1/4? Cuz I'm guessing 1/4 times. And if you're looking at forced induction (a.k.a. ram air, turbo, or supercharger) then I'd put the viper in front. Reason being it has such a large amount of torque to begin with, and such a low curve (it starts at like 970rpms) that it has no problem spooling up a turbo, whereas a 6 cylinder will have a tid bit of turbo lag off of the line, especially at a high boost with a low displacement engine.
