transmission only works in low - 85 Park ave
Additional info:
Changed out modulator and flushed transmission and changed filter and new fluid. Still will not shift out of low  HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!! Transmission will not shift out of low gear. Any ideas? thanks Brad Last edited by Brad McCoy; 09-19-2003 at 10:33 PM.

Check throttle cable
Had the same problem - wouldn't shift out of low gear (unless you wound it up to 25 m.p.h.) Noticed there was a "kink" in my throttle cable. The quick fix was to open throttle all the way (while car was not running) and release. Cable went back into place and transmission shifted smoothly. Purchased throttle cable for $20.00 (had a heck of a time installing it) but haven't had that problem since. Can't hurt to look and see if your cable is releasing all the way back. Good luck.
