old school idea- gold leaf and silver leaf

after being inspired by discovery channel's great bike build off

and seeing gold and silver leaf in use

i have desided to try it out on a 94 impala ss (revell)

i am doing some simple tribal designs

any ways ill try to post pics soon


oh has any one tried it in scale models ?

The name just slipped of my mind, but a lot of people here use the "silver leaf" method on their headlights.

I guess you mean Bare Metal Foil (BMF), an adhesive backed metal foil.

I kind of thought that it would be cool after seeing orange county choppers. The fire bike they did with the gold leaf was awesome. Good luck.
