Hatchback vs Coupe

Ok, I am in the middle of trying to buy yet another 240. I am trying to decide on whether to buy a coupe or Hatchaback. I currently have a 92 Coupe. I kinda like the style on a Black Hatchback. But if you guys can give me some input on what you guys think is better or nicer, maybe I can finally make my mind up. Thx guys...

make up your mind yourself. it's a complete matter of personal preference.

real 240 guys like the coupes, while the general audience likes hatches.

coupes are lighter, that's my choice.

Thats why I have a coupe now but I was thinking I might want a change of pace. Incase you guys are wondering why I am gettin another, I got in a reck with this one. But I did like the coupe a lil better. But like a said I am just trying to get a second opinion. The fact that the coupe is lighter might make me get another. But I was thinking the extra weight could be helpful and at the same time not. I am considering handeling as a big factor also.

"real" 240 guys don't necessarily prefer coupes. it's all a matter of personal preference. what YOU think looks best is what YOU should buy. it's your money and your choice. if it were me in your situation, since you already own a coupe, i'd buy a hatch so i could have one of each.

personally, i'm an avid hatch fan cause i love the way the tail-lights look, and i'm a MEAN Sileighty lover. but i ALSO have a VERY soft spot for coupes, especially those with S13 front ends. i would take either if i found one for cheap enough, but since i found my M30 first...

yeah for a better lightweight S13, start with a coupe, then do a S13 silvia conversion which I hear takes off around 50 lbs...

besides being lighter, the coupe has better support from its rear window compared to the all glass 180sx type. People say the coupes are more rigid because of this.

Not our decision, like mynismo said.

Alright..Alright I get it....Your saying I need to beet off more...no...wait... anyway I just like them both so much but I think I might go with a hatchback this time....but then again coupes are nice too... Whatever I find the best deal on first is what I will prolly end up getting. I'll let you know what I finally decide.

The perfect soloution is a Sileighty.Since you like the coupe, but want to have a hatch, then take the Sileighty,it is the best of both worlds.

coupe and fastback involve the BACK of the car.

so changing the front will only make it the same in the FRONT, so its still a toss-up

i myself will be going with a coupe similar to the one in my beautiful signature image that i designed

I guess I'm a loner in that I LOVE the hatchback with the pop-up lights as long as its 91-93 so it doesn't have pignose, don't like that, but I love the sleepy-eye look *drool* screw sil-eighty (no offense to anyone) sleepy-eye is just beautiful...
