Tokyo POP: Initial D Volume one is on sale

Tokyo POP: Initial D Volume one is on sale and what a piece of shit the Tricked out version is. they messed with the Visuals They messed with the Music and they ruined the dialogue

PS The music drowns any car revs or Skiding

The names are changed and they suck

The dialogue is Fast and Furious
The Music is Shit: crap dialogue, crap singing.
The removed all suspense.
Through messing with visuals (IE MIRROR LINE AND CHEAP ORANGE BORDER TRANSISTIONS: You'll see what i mean) it makes it really cheap.

www.animeondvd.com did a review
the guy watched 5 minutes and wretched. Gave up watching it and vowed never to do a review on the English Tricked out version ever again.

PS you can watch it in Classic mode thank god. I'd actually call it "the way you're suposed to watch it MORONS".
You can watch it in Tricked out with Japanese dub but there's no point cuz the tricked out means shit directing.

They made the whole thing cheap and tacky. NEVER NEVER WATCH THE RAPPER DUB ITS SOOOO SHIT. NOT EVEN WORTH A LAUGH - I NEARLY CRIED.

actually VIZ isn't that bad at doing DVD's at the moment. Last Viz dvd i saw was Maison Ikkoku and its a much better version than the one you can get from Ebay.

TokyoPOP is just trying to get on the Import Mainstream bandwagon and make some more money from it, cuz alot of those types of people probably can't be bothered to watch the subtitles and like an english dub.

Well, this is not really about Initial D, but since there's a post about Viz...I like how Viz has handled Hana Yori Dango. Except for a minor name change (Rui turned to Louie), it's almost flawless in the dub version. Great work!
