steering allignment not possible?

hey i just got my steering alligned and it came un alligned just hours after i got it alligned. i was about half way to texas, 200 miles after the allignment when my steering went out of whack again, my only idea is that my ball joints are pust, a fiew are in kinda bad shape, or is something else the culprit. any ideas or help would be appretiated.

Has your car been lowered before?? cause sometimes if you lower it, it will throw your alignment

car is at normal ride height but it might have happened if so, the restored it to normal ride height before junkyarding it... i don't think it's likely but i've heard it may be the ball joints a fiew are going out, they aren't bad yet but prolly close they are really old i know that.

When you had the alignment all suspension parts should have been inspected & replaced as needed before the actual aligning.

Which way is your car pulling? Just because you take your hands off the steering wheel & it pulls doesnt always mean its an alignment issue.

O/T - One lady brought her car in @ the place I worked before for an alignment. She came back the same day & bitched it was pulling - we put it on the machine & everything was in spec. She came back a few days later bitching again, put it on the alignment rack again - same thing all in spec. It turned out she was so heavy her car needed to be aligned with her in it I'm glad I didnt have to ask her to sit in the car

well dude i weigh 170 and it wasn't pulling at first it took around 250 miles for it to start pulling again and i actually think it's the rearend now cause a while back i got a front end allignment and it didn't help at all but then i got a 4 wheel and it did the trick perfectly my car fealt great, but, boom back to the same old problem after said amount of miles.

oh and it pulls to the right and it kinda looks like i have different camber, it might have been ghettoed out at one point, but i dunno why they would have put back the original shit if it was to be junked, which it was for a tiny little ding on the tail and a blown engine.

something may have come loose. if anything was taken loose to adjust it (should have been, because how else can you adjust toe?), then it may not have been tightened enough.

take it back to where you had the work done and tell them to fix it. You might have to prove that you didnt hit a pothole or anything or else they might not fix it. You might want to try replacing the ball joints if you think they are bad tho.
