Good Car for around 10-20k?
I have 10k i can spend, but i am considering a loan for a new car. Only prob with that is there isnt much i like thats new other then the IS300. I was just wondering what a good RWD/AWD (really tired of Front lol) car that performs well, looks nice, and is reliable. So far just considering BMW 325is, Nissan 240sx, and A IS300 if i can find one for 20.
Thanks for the help 8-) |

I can't really say older BMWs and the 240SX are known for reliability... anyway, if you like RWD Lexus, you can find first gen GS300s or older SC300s/400s for less than $17k for sure.
Used Subaru 2.5RSs can be found for around $12k, but maintenance and repair can be costly since it is not a common car. First gen Miatas (pop-lights) and some earlier second gen Miatas (current style) definitely can be found for less than $10k. They are supposedly pretty reliable and very sporty... but they are small. Then you have your Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, etc. I think American cars' reliability is whatever you make of it. They do need more maintenance than other cars, but as long as they are kept properly, they should be ok. |

If you are going to go up to 20k...get an M3...anywhere from 95 on...
The 240SX's are very reliable w/a near bullet proof truck motor to boot!
