Well, same as many distributors for almost anything, the answer is, it depends.

Some items are popular that once they sell out HLJ will restock fairly quickly.
and vise versa.

Just wait my patiently.

I've never waited more than 2-3 weeks for standard production items that were backordered to be restocked. Wheels must come in pretty frequently since I never wait too long on those. Never order 1/12 kit, but I would imagine since it's a high dollar item, they get those in less frequently than most items.

One of the things about posting on a forum for information is showing patience.
Waiting an hour and then being upset because you have not got an answer isn't right, this is a forum, not a chat room, unfortunately it takes time to get an answer, sometimes.
Sometimes you may wait several hours to get the answers to your question, but we will always try to answer you as quickly as possible.

We're all here to help each other.

He was more like crying.
Anyway, the answer is, retailers don't know.
When a retailer receives an order of out of stock items, they ask their distributor, and if the distributor has one, restocking time will be a matter of few days. If distributor is out of stock, you'll have to wait for the next production run, since manufacturers usually don't stock items. A model kit is only produced a few times a year, because it only takes a few days to make several thousand kits. So, there are big gap between production schedules.
