I have a 1996 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo w/ the infiniti gold speakers in it, and the amp under my back seat, well i'm trying to install a Alpine head unit, 2 12' audiobahns and a 2000Watt massive audio amp. but i hooked everything up, my subs work, but i'm not getting any sound out of my highs, i hooked the stock radio back up, it works perfectly fine, is there something i'm missing or don't know about thisfactory amp under my back seat from hearing the highs w/ my alpine

Re: cd Player,w/ no sound
i had the same problem and i returned a very nice head unit because i thought it wouldnt work in there because of factory amp, but my factory radio was shot, so i dug up an old sony marine radio and threw it in there and out of curiosity i hooked up the remote amp wire of the back of the sony to the power antanae wire and boom cd player worked. Its really wierd.

Check this thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...light=no+sound
You're not getting power to the power amp.
