ZC timing

Does anyone know what the real timing specs for the DOHC ZC is? I looked at what the Si's was and set mine with a timing gun to that. Like for example, the Si's is supposed to be number 18 on the gun at 800-900 rpm. Does anyone know if its the same for the ZC? Please, I really gotta figure this out. Thanks. Oh yea, one more thing. Does anyone know what the valve height is supposed to be, so I can adjust them correctly?

Exhuast - 0.15 to 0.19mm

timing should be 16°(+-2°)BTDC

hope it helps.

Yup...that sounds right...The only addition I have is the timing should be checked with a plug detached and some wires shorted - i added a pic for you.

Valve adjustment is a dark art dude... I think it is as much what feels right, as reading actually feeler gauges and tightening lock nuts and springs and shit

Good Luck and let us know how it goes
