engines and stuff.

Within this next month (Sept.) I will have about $3500 to spend on a motor. I just need some help on choosing one I will be happy with so I decided to ask you guys/girls. I want a DOHC motor that I can put in myself pretty easily. I would like a USDM motor too so if it needs a part I won't get confused or frustrated on what part to get for it. I plan on building this motor up real nice and then maybe put a supercharger on it but I doubt it 'cuz I need a reliable motor. And I need to stick with an auto tranny, I have heard alot of bad things about converted 5 speeds....I can't think of any other info I need to give out. I hope I didn't waste your time and thanks in advance.

yeah a ls auto would be good because since u cant launch at anything other than idle, unless u wanan neutral drpo. but since the ls has better low end torque, it will get u goign faster than say a auto b16

Alright thanks guys, So I can go B18c with a B18a auto tranny? Just makeing sure I got this right. With motor mounts, the B18c will just drop on in?, No firewall bangin' or anything?
Once again, Thanks guys!
