Problem after Engine swap
I got my engine swapped a few months ago. I had a D15B7 swapped for a Japanese Carburetor D15B7 that was converted into a fuel injector.
Now, when I drive the car, usually when the car starts, there's this ideling problem. It sounds like I'm pressing and releasing the gas pedal. Now imagine all this with a DC aftermarket muffler. When I'm at the light, unless I press and hold down the gas pedal, everyone just stares at me.
It seems to me like the injector, that was used on the old engine, is not injecting enough gas. Also, the "check engine" light is on, and the guy who swapped the engine told me to replace the o2 sensor. Could this ideling problem be from having a faulty o2 sensor? I've ran the fuel injector cleaner through the gas a few times, but it didn't help a bit.
Has anyone had this problem before? I just ordered a new oxygen sensor, spark plugs and wires. Anyone else have anything else to what this could be?
Oh and one more thing, If I press on the gas pedal too hard, the pedal get's stuck about half way down. When I change gears, I have to pull the pedal back up, wtf is that about? Seems like something's not getting enough oil.
