Catalytic Converter Fit Issues after engine swap
After I get through building up my B16 and ready to swap it into my EG, I've heard there are fitting issues with the length of the catalytic converter and the exhaust pipes after the swap.
Is there a store that sells properly sized catylitic converters for hondas after Bseries engine swaps? Should I just get a custom made test pipe? Thank you, Nabeeh Hasan |

First off what model is it vx dx si...My vx after I swapped the motor the stock b16 header bolted right up to the stock vx mid-section(yes I'm getting rid of the vx exhaust)because the cat is in between the header and the downpipe. But landspeed racing will make you a cat to fit any combination Just call them and tell them what year bodystyle make header and exhaust.

I have a 95 DX with 5zigen catback. I just had heard about issues and decided to ask those who knew to either confirm or deny that information. And thank you, I couldn't remember that it was Landspeedracing that offered those cats.
It's also cool that you live in Bamberg, Germany. I used to live in Nuremburg and later on in Ansbach. How does the honda with the B16 perform on the autobahn? I remember everyone passing by so fast back on the autobahn. |

It does pretty good I got my swap done and then deployed to Kosovo a few days later so I never really got a chance to push it.
