Ok supposedly i have an email virus thats using my email to send itself to other people. But the weirdest thing is who its sending it to!

Hmm a female artist who has a few hit songs and videos played around the world.. Thats only one but like every 5 mins i get messages that say "A message containing a virus was sent from your e-mail address. It is
very likely this machine (or any other you use for e-mail) is infected!
CHECK IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM!"

And it has targeted more famous people but i only decided to start a thread now.. I have scanned for viruses but it found nothing! and its not like i can hault outgoing messages... They are prob. being sent every second!

Anyone know what to do or is experiencing this problem?

Update your virus definitions.

They are already up to date.. but there was somthing weird with the email scanning system so i fixed it and will scan it when im done here... thanks tho

never seen that before...thats odd did you search on nortons site to see if it has any info?

its already been anounced that the new worm virus spoofs the sender so most likely the virus send itslef pretending to be you and you got back a notification that you sent the virus even though you did not

That is exactly whats happening.. im running virus scan now
