Part Request - Leather Handbrake Cover

The leather material behind my Skyline's handbrake is rather worn on one spot right below the handle itself. The cover has a velcro seal that runs vertically below the handle with a small button near the top. I'd like to replace this since it is one of the only blemishes in the interior of the car. Can anyone recommend a webstore that sells these things?

Info: 1994 HR-33, black interior, 5M/T.

Momo make an after market replacement for that. getting your hands on a new one would be difficult depending on where you live, which country.

Thanks RGTR. I'm located in Japan, so the chances of finding an OEM part are probably better than if I was in the U.S., but I think I'll just get something aftermarket since I want to replace the stick handle too.

Can you point me to a website that is well-known for selling these (and other) after market parts for Skylines? Thanks in advance.

I would reccomend you doin a search on ebay. I would think a universal e-brake cover would work.

Might I suggest looking for a 'Green Stage' Nissan dealership near by your area. You can probably order the part from a Blue Stage dealer as well.

Well if you live in Japan then I am sure you can get a replacement through Nissan directly. I am still able to get factory bits such as hoses etc ex-Japan. I know they cost an arm and a leg but hell everything via Nissan direct is bloody expensive!.

I tasked my insurance guy with finding a replacement part, however according to Japanparts.com there is no way to get the replacement boot direct from Nissan without buying the entire console assembly (which I think is a load of BS but what do I know). I'm pretty sure I'll find the part eventually; in the meantime I'll just put up with a little cosmetic blemish.

Just wondering where you're actually at now. I mean, do you live in Japan. If so you can always go to an Autobacs or Starks and get an aftermarket one. they're usually pretty cheap.

Been to Yellow Hat and they didn't have it; if I have time I'll check out Autobacs tomorrow (supposedly there is one just down the street from the Yellow Hat I visited). Thanks for the heads up.

Also, where can I get one of those like in the picture above? o_O

(Yes, I am in Japan)

They're actually called the ARTA gals and they have some pics of them on the Autobacs home site. Its girls like that that make me wish I was in mainland.

If there is any specific part number or whatever that would be helpful to have before I go tomorrow, can you post it here? I'm confident in my language ability, however having something to show that I know is correct would be nice.

When you say not on the mainland, I assume that means you are with the military and stationed on Okinawa. That's gotta be a bummer in some respects.

Believe me it is...a bummer. I love the island here though. I just hate my job. Its either work night or day, and on most weekends and holidays(boo) But no biggie. I'll try to find that part number for you. Oh and mind if I ask what you do up there....I'm always looking for something better to do. Just as long as I can stay in Japan.

Without trying to drag this off-topic (sorry mods!), I'm an English instructor at a junior high school here in Niigata prefecture. I came over with the JET program, which takes recent college grads and places them with local municipal authorities as language instructors. It's a good deal, pays well, and the people are friendly to a fault.

So anyway, I'll drive down to Autobacs today after classes and see what I can turn up. One other question... is installing the aftermarket part easy or difficult? I see how the boot attaches in the front (velcro and a button) but I am not sure how to detach it from the bottom and the rear. Any suggestions?

you have to take the centre console out , the gatior has a wire frame , that inserts in clips , that are on the underside of said console.
