Prelude, Price is right?
I'm looking into purchasing a used 5speed 1988 Honda Prelude Si, from a guy I know for about $750-$900. It's got 136k miles on it, and just needs new front brakes and calipers. Is that a pretty good price for it? It will be basically used to go to school and daily errands. Nothing past 15miles I guess. Any replys will be greatly appreciated. thanks

136k on an 88? maybe the odo has rolled over. otherwise if it's not salvage title, it looks good to me.

no salvage title, the odo looks clean thanks to the autocheck. Just needs front brakes and calipers.

Re: Prelude, Price is right?
The post looked eerily familiar.. did the car happen to be black? ...and was it located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn? Haha, if so- I picked up that same car up a couple of months ago.. hey, it's not the cleanest 3G out there but it runs strong and is a blast to drive!
