Used Prelude prices going down?
I am in the market to get a new vehicle. I realize that Honda is discontinuing their Prelude. I am trying to sell my '98 Prelude. Does anyone know if this will begin to affect the value of my Prelude.
I know my friend had an older jeep cherokee. When Jeep anounced that they would discontinue it and come out with their new Jeep, the price dropped 2k in about a month. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.. porthole |

Unlike the Jeep, the Prelude is stopped for good. The 5G is the last generation. This may actually increase their value somewhat.
It's kind of hard to say with any certainty, but the bluebook did not drop steeply when that news came out.

best handling car for under $30k...
i dont see it's value dropping off any time soon, discontinued or not. i DO see probably an increase in it's premium since the market isnt flooded with them, they are a damn good car, and the demand may start picking up since the people sittin on a fence about buyin one are now forced to buy a used one. |

Thanks...
Thanks for your replys. I hate to get rid of it. My wife thinks we need a four door, oh well. I have it up for sale now, and I have only received one call in three weeks.
I think it may be because of the recent deals by all of the car dealers. Anyway... thanks again. porthole |
