exhaust question
k i got a 90 honda civic hatchback n i am doin a motor swap im putting in a d16z6 n i was wondering since i have to use the header for that motor does the cat n catback system have to be for that year to or will my 90 high flowcat n catback system exhaust still work, n what is the diffrence between the 88-91 1.5l catback exhaust system n the one for the 88-91 1.6l cat back? figure id post it here acuse no one responded at the other place i posted it....

the difference is the pipe diameter if i'm not mistaken. Your best bet is to see if it lines up after the swap, if not, get a new one. That's the easiest way.

If it doesn't fit, just go to a muffler shop and have them cut/extend and weld. Exhaust is one of the easiest things to fix, it's just pipe and flanges. The flanges should be the same, so all you'll have to do is get them together.
