SC'ed Auto GT?

Has anyone here put a SC on a '99 - '03 automatic GT? If so, what tranny mods did you make ?

Installed one on a 01 GT auto. Vortech comes with a chip that takes care of shifiting for the new S/C. But if you do or have changed rear geas you will need a special chip that will fix problems the autos have with the traction control and not shifting soon enough causing you to over rev the engione and hit the feul shut-off, Diablo chips is aware of this isssue and do make a chip to correct it.

Thanks GT and Los...GT...

I take it you went with Vortech? Which one / set-up?
What kind of HP and RHP numbers are you making?
Lastly, what gears are you using? I have already installed 3.73's.

Thanks for the info.

With a 2v, look for somewhere around 350+ rwhp.

Here is the general problem with all 99 and up GT auto Mustangs. The computer the use in it is actually slower processing-wise than a standard. So what happens is if you have a gear swap and a S/C you need the computer to shift your tranny faster than it can even compute it. This can be fixed by a chip, it was a custom burn from Diablo.
I've seen this problem with an ATI Procharger on a 01 GT Vert and a 02 GT with a Vortech SQ with liquid aftercooler.
