Air Flow Meters
I am sure most of us at one time or another have had problems with these damn things. I've currently got one. So myself and mate who is an electronics guru are going to see about repairing it. 99% of the time it is a dry solder joint somewhere. Either on the wires to the pins or the small board inside. I will see if Stu will bring his digital camera with and take some photos of what we do, and post it.

Cool,
I am in electronic as well, so I just swap them out. hehehe Really, that would be very helpful. I have seen on more than one occasion of a cold solder joint acting up.

I repaired mine about 4 months ago. Not too hard, just unsolder the metal cover, remove the circuit board & clean everything with electrical cleaner, then resolder everything & reseal. Only took an hour or so and was a damn sight cheaper than replacing it.
