need advice on settings for kyb adjust. springs 4 a 96 g-20
Hey!! what up peeps. One question. I have a 96 g-20. Just got some KYB's adjustable from coximports.com. Sitting in box and i've yet to install it. However, I need to know what kinda settings do you people have set on the KYB ?. I live in florida-- the roads are not totally bad but i mean just as any other road few dips and pot holes and shi*. I'd like a setting where the front feels smooth over dips ( so i dont feel like driving on a skateboard) yet i'd like the sporty feel.. and for the back what would you reccomend?.. ANYONE with KYBS adjustable.. a prompt response would be tiiiiiiight and much appreciate. IF YOU COULD EMAIL ME BACK AT [email protected] ..it'll be koo... by the way.. i have 205-40-17's on my car with lexani krystal rims.. the shi* is off the chain.. i'd put pictures if i had a scanner thing. BUT anyhow.. anyone.. hook me up with info if you have.. thanks!!

Mine: 3 front/6 rear.
I like the ride firm, and these settings have worked well for me. Are you still on stock springs? |

First off, what type of springs are you running. Depending on teh spring rate, you will want to adjust accordingly. I have a pretty stiff spring setup for the G20 (340f/250r) and i have mine at 2/3 most of the time. i'm sure on stock springs, or similar spring rates, 1/2 or something like that would be about where I would start adjusting from. But it also depends on your ride prefrence too. The higher you go, the harsher ride you will get. I have mine set as low as they will go, without being jiggly. If I go any lower than i am at now, my ride actually gets worse, go figure. It all depends on your spring rates, and how much "harshness" you can take.
