security problems starting the car

Hello, My 97' buick lesabre doesn't start all the time. Whenever the problem occurs, the security light comes on,
and I have to wait until the security light goes away, before I can try to start it again and sometimes that doesn't work.
I had someone bypass my security system to start the car, because they said that might work. But it did'nt.
I'll have to unhook my positive battery cable to try and start it again, and that doesn't work all the time.
I'm hoping you can help me, because I've taken it to 4 shops and they could'nt diagnos the problem, because the car seems
to start up everytime they have it, and they tell me in order for them to fix the problem, the car has to not start while it's there.
This has been a problem for me over a year now and it's driving me crazy.

I noticed you have a thread in the Park ave forum, exactly the same. Don't worry, I'll get rid of that for ya

As for your problem, go to a dealer, more money upfront, but less money in the longrun, and the'll do it right.

Re: security problems starting the car

I'm trying to fix the exact same problem myself. I know if I take the car to the dealer they will charge me $500 and keep my car for a few weeks. So, I'm trying to figure a way to bypass the fuel relay and bypass the starter interrupt relay. I'll let you know if I am successful. If you have fixed your problem, PLEASE tell me what you did. THANKS!
