just recently i have problems starting my car. the battery isnt dead cause i can turn on the radio and windows when i turn the key it doesnt start. It takes a while to start it. whats the prob?

This could be any number of problems from a bad ignition module to a distributor to a fuel problem.
Does it crank but not start or do you turn the key and nothing happens? If it cranks and takes a while to start it may be a battery problem. You may not have enough cranking amps to start. Try going to a larger cranking amperage like a 650. I have a 650 in a 1985 T-Bird with a v6 and that baby starts up great even on cold mornings. |
