front upper arms

My upper ball joints are dead on both sides and i was wondering if there are any aftermarket upper arms for 4G hatch's? I really dont feel like paying $129cdn/each to the dealer.

Yeah, they are about 94.00 each plus shipping. I got mine at the local carquest for about 99.00 each plus tax.

Specialty Products makes an adjustable upper ball joint for our cars to correct for camber. I believe a set was around $150 or so. My upper ball joints are dead and I need to replace them and fix my camber so I figured I was gonna get a set of these. I think there was a site off groupbuycenter.com that sold them.

dude if only the front upper control arms from the 5th gen hatch would fit the 4th gen ......then you could get some SKUNK2 adjustable camber cntrl arms .......Bcuz SKunk2 only made them for 5th gen and up......
i still dont know if they even fit ....soo dont quote me.....but if they do ....you'd have to do some cutting to the fender well......i just posted almost the same damn thing check it out.......skunk2 front Upr Ctrl Arm "Question".........i had the same thing happen i wanted to correct camber while replacing the upper balljoint

..if you can, post up a picture of these... I had a set of adjustable upper arms that were the biggest pieces of crap ever.. nevermind the fact that the simply didnt fit... even with an extensive amount of trimming... but the quality was horrible and the ball joints busted their welds..

If you want better camber without actually buying a camber kit, upgrade your upper control arms to the ones from the 90-93 Integra.

I have them on my Si, and when it sits on 15's with about 1/2" of wheel space, the camber is about -1 degree...Thats pretty much perfect for a good balance between performance and even tire wear. Plus its Oem honda, so you cant go wrong there. My mechanic also has this done to his Si with the same results. Good upgrade....worth looking into.

crappy picture...but this is them I believe... its chassis tech crap from AIM...so I shoulda known.. there are ball joints that slide in those grooves.... do NOT buy these... the control arms do not fit in the wheel wells properly and hit the top of the wheel well... the will not fit, even with extensive trimming

well i dont think the integra arms will work ...i have adjustable lowering springs all around ........so i'm needing something i can dial in the camber with ........i think with the integra control arms and the lowering spring would just add more to the negative camber right?

i have

skunk2 coilovers
tokico blues
Ex front brakes (big brakes)

I did the integra control arms before i did my big brakes, and the skunk2's have been on for about 2 years. So, I have no problems with having them fit. They should fit any 88-91 civic/crx, seeing how the 2g integra is based on the civic platform.

Like I said...with 14's and 15's, the car rides perfect and the camber is optimal. There's no need to "dial-in" because its perfect the way it is.

This is a cheap and effective alternative to spending $150+ on new control arms or some crap ones that will move on you.
