pics of new engine, punchin-bag-fender and more

If you ever get upset while working on your car, invest in a punching bag, not a new fender…

here’s the new engine. Gotta get some Mean Grean and strip this valve cover down (I had just stripped the paint from my old one before I took it in, and they didn’t give it back, oh well)

here’s my car loaded down with a couple hundred pounds of stuff (my dad said over 300), picked up speed like crap but looks good lowered a bit

and here are some pics of my passenger front wheel, the guy who did my car for me said he couldn’t see anything bent so he just thinks its crazily out of alignment. We’ll see once I get a CV boot and my driver’s side tie rod done

I’ve got tons of other pics, but I’m too lazy to upload them all

here's a couple more, can't do a full fledged Melt right now tho, i actually have a life j.k

here's what my old valve cover looked like, i got all the paint up and shined up the lettering

here it is installed. i had plans to polish the whole thing to a nice shine, we'll see if i have time to now tho

here's the used block i got for 100 bucks

hell of a steal, i woulda just installed it except for a little problem: cylinder rust

but its ok, i still used the crank and rod from it

instead of uninstalling the whole top half, i just left it all together, and i found a very technical place to leave it: a weight bench hey it worked

and finally, here is a little panaramic i did a while back of my dash, oh so pretty

you think the weight bench is ghetto? Heres my friends b20 block ... we were too stupid to figure out the damn engine stand so we propped the shit up with a recycle bin.

surprisingly i don't think i hit it that hard, atleast not in my eyes. i was trying to get something undone in the suspension and i guess i hurt my hand or something and said some bleeps and just wacked it once. a few seconds later i was like "why the hell did i do that?!"

stali mine it the same way, but i guess since mine car is so damn high it doesn't hit actually, its not ramped a lot, but its enough that when you change your oil, it doens't all drain out
