1. The red Z06's, one of which I drove... You can see one staging and one at the end of the front straight in the background.

2. Some of the cars available in the Luxury category. Lost of CTS's.

3. A pic of me testing the ABS in a Saab 9-3 convertable.

4. A view of the truck course, from a Chevy Avalanche.

5. A Lexus IS300 launching. Note the weight transfer and teensy puff of smoke at the rear wheel. They kept telling us not to chirp the wheels. LOL!

Wow, I have got to get myself to one of these test drive events. My friend in Maryland tells me about this BMW test driving event like this that he gets to every year or so. Maybe I should make an effort to attend one of these days. It would be worth it just to test drive a Z06, not to mention other cool rides like an IS300.

Well, I guess the whole point is to get you to drive cars you wouldn't normally consider, and it totally worked. That S/C Monte Carlo and the Saab 9-5 were both really impressive. Same goes for a 2.5 Altima: I didn't expect much, but it was really fnu to drive...

Oh, did I mention it was all FREE???
