Tach Problem
Anyone know where the tach connects to the motor?
i dumped the clutch on my 85gt and since the tach hasnt worked..... good thing ive drove it every day for the last 5 yrs and know my rpm's by the speed and gear ![]() anyway its kinda anoying and i would like to see if its just something stupid like a wire fell off. any ideas?

It connects to the coil with a grey connector, I doubt that your problem is there because the car wont run with out that plugged in. Look there and if thats good try elsewhere, possibly in the dash?

that was it the wire is pulled out of the coil or whatever it is.
oh wel ill wory bout it when i find the right motor continued on seperate topic
