Yes, of course it will be. It'll still be a bad ass mofo in my opinion. Look at the Countach.

NO NOS OR SUPERCHARGERS!

Like the other gusy said, Lamborghinis previous mdoels are still sought after today, and still held in high regard as high performance.

A Miura can hit 180.

i think the diablo will always be cool. i highly doubt "normal" cars will start to look like it, and the fact that there will only be so few in the world.

i've seen a couple diablos with superchargers in them. they had about 800hp. and the engines were beautiful. i think, if done right, anything can be added to a car. just as long as the original intent of the car is kept in mind.

Re: diablo coolness

A Vette with more power than a Diablo will still not be as cool. Look at Countach's. Would you pick a brand-new '03 Vette over a pristine '89 Lp? I sure wouldn't. No matter how much faster it would run the quarter.

If your afraid that a Vette might beat it than simply have it tuned. If you have the money for a Diablo, I'm sure you can afford to give it some extra power, lots of quality specialty shops out there if you look.

As for looks, the Diablo looks is a classic and will always look beautiful just like the Countach.

If a Diablo GT is your favorite Diablo, yous think you would know that they are 2001 models, not 1999.

IMHO the Diablo is a milestone in the exotic car field. In fact for a lot of people it is THE ULTIMATE EXOTIC, so no worries about its future, this car also IMHO will age better than the Countach due to its more rounded shape.

For myself, I prefer the Diablo look over the Murciélago one, and more, I prefer the Diablo version with pop up lights...

Maybe I am wrong but I think that it's now the right time to get a Diablo because they are depreciating a lot with the introduction of its successor Murciélago and even more with the coming of the Gallardo.

But this won't gonna last.

In 15 to 20 years prices are going to skyjump with rarity and inflation.

Just see how much we can sell old Corvettes, Mustang and rare american muscle cars... sometime more than ten times its original value!

Just my 2 cents ( canadian perhaps! )
