targa and corvet tail conversion
anyone know a website or someone who does targa and c5 tail light conversions for camaro's?? and yes i want to be different

I've seen a guy that did a targa top conversion to his t-top Camaro, but he did it on his own. I've not see a place that does it on it's own...

bad idea on the targa top unless you stiffen the frame. the T bar is a important piece in the structure of the car

Also that guy's Targa I believe has no roof to put back on or at least i've never seen pics of it with the roof on.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure that I have either. He'd have had to find a way to fab up the original pieces, or donor pieces together, and that would have been quite a feat...

crap! thanks guys for your replies anyways..car is a hard top so i would actually have something to put back on, and it alredy has sub frame connectors, but i would prefer glass... oh well lol it was a nice thought, but i don twant some guy hacking up my car in the back yard just to see if it can be done.. thanks again

It definetly can be done. It needs to be done by a proffesional customization shop if you want a roof that will fit back in nice and not leak on you. I was looking to do it to my 87 Stang. I very repurable shop gave me a quote of $2,200 for just the metal work. It still had to be painted after. The pic of that Targa Camero it looks like he just cut his T-top center out and rolled his roofliner over it to make it look clean. Which anyone with a Sawzall and a extra car for rain or snow can do and make it look good..
