Any one try to install Sparco seat on EK?
I have a Sparco Sprint to be installed on my EK. What do u need for the whole installation if using the Sparco frame and rail? How do u keep the factory seat belt? Can I use the fatory rail instead of the Sparco rail?
Thanx for answering my question! |

Nice seat, I've got Sparco Torinos myself and I love em. You'll need to use the sparco rail as it bolts to the floor on a frame. You'll probably have to buy a bunch of nuts, bolts and washers too, mine didn't come with any.
As for the seatbelt, you just have to attach the belt clip to the new seat, there was a place on the side of mine to bolt it on, not sure about yours though? HTH, G

The sprint is a non reclining seat and it does not have a bolt on the side of it for your seat belt. These seats are normally used with a seat belt harness. You can use seat rails along with the custom bracket for your car. Don't know what you can do about the seat belt
maybe speak to the people you bought them from.

You cannot use the factory seat belts ... you must purchase a harness ... on my EG my 3 point harness used two of the factory seatbelt bolt holes, one on the door side which holds the factory seat belt, and the other uses the rear factory seatbelt hole ... the third i bolted to the mounting frame of the seat, soon i'm gonna mount it to the floor ...
