Any one here install a cold air intake on mustang from CA/ny

I don't know what im going to do about this smog pump in the fender wall, most people don't even know about it. its definitly in the way, I need to find a bracket for it and I cannot make one. I have a 99 v6, theirs no way I can put this COI intake in until I figure out what to do. does any one have any ideas, I managed to find a picture of the smog pump and the bracket thats in the way, this is one from a tuturion on how to install the intake on a CA car.

supposedly that is from a MAC cold air intake kit, but I emailed them and called them and they are located in CA and deny that this bracket exist. IM so confused any one have any ideas for me, I will get out the digi cam and take pictures of this pump tommorow and post them, thanks in advance for any ideas.
