The infamous "Lingenfelter" update...

I know a lot of you have seen the video before of the two guys in the low 13 second eclipse getting absolutely destroyed by the red Corvette. A lot of people thought that was a Lingenfelter and labled the video as such, when in reality it was a Z51R. ANYWAYS, since that vid a few upgrades have been made to the already quick car. Namely, he moved away from NA and strapped on a supercharger...Thought it was fast before?? I'm sure it's crazy fast now...

More pics of the supercharger install here...
http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/99z51r/index5.shtml

And here's a link to his homepage with info on the car and a link to the original video

Thats kind of ugly he should get a new hood to fit that under. They make a hood like the 2nd gen Stingrays that would probably fit over that.

Dunno, as much as I am not a "flash" kind of guy, I kinda like it.

I think it could stand a different hood as well. I am interested to see what kind of times he can pull with that beast

Well I thought this would work but it looks like its not big enough. The scoop looks no bigger then the regular Vette's little bumps.

Yeah I remember when he skunked that Eclipse from the vid. What exactly is a Z51R? I've never heard of that type of vette.

Nice vettes but ya he needs a new hood right now his car says "look at me I have a supercharger" Has he gone up against anything worth braging about? because a 13sec eclipes isnt that big of a deal. Now if he pissed on a viper then I would be impressed.

Been away for a couple of days...The car was in the low 11s NA before the supercharger, don't know exact times though. There are actually a couple different hoods that look like they would fit the supercharger underneath them. I like it as is though. It says "Look at me, I have a supercharger" like all of the muscle cars of old

Now if this were sticking out of the hood I would agree. No, I'm not talking about the girl, those are too expensive.
