Talking 1/16 Ferrari F40 LM

I finally got around to start this baby today, just started to
paint some parts, I also finally got a digital camera so I thought I would share. The camera picks up alot of imperfections!! wow..need to touch it up...

for those that missed the thread..this is the kit:

a question: do you guys know what colour this part is supposed to be painted? the instructions refer to a colour code that doesnt correspond to the provided chart.

look at those RIMS!!

the kit is a blast to build so far!!

scaledetails they make the transkit for the 1/16 F40 and a bunch of other stuff. Ive seen the kits on Ebay going for 50-60 range or you can buy direct from them at I think 70 US!!

THat part is the oil filter, so you can paint it just about anything you want. They come in black, blue, white, orange, you name it. Depends what was put on there the last time the oil was changed.

That´s my favorite ferrari of all times. Several Years ago I´ve builded a 1:8 version, based on the Pocher kit. I will post pics soon. Go on and build a beautiful model.

Question: Are the engine Parts the same as the stock version or are they different? Specialy the exhaust of the LM does not have a silencer and the intercoolers on top of the engine are bigger then the stock ones. This engine has around 760HP without air restrictor.

updates!

Heres an update on this project, the engine is almost done.
One thing that makes me think is, why did they give silver
hoses for the piping when they are supposed to be black?
what a hassle to paint!!

Sad to say, the engine is the stock F40, not LM
