Which gear oil to use??? Please advise!
I own a JDM Honda Integra Type R 96 Spec. I was just wondering which gear oils would be good for my car considering that i have (jdm helical l.s.d, jdm gear box). Are synthetic oils good for honda trannys? I heard that the redline shockproof gear oils are no good for hondas. Please advise. Thanks.

use honda mtf
use the honda mtf (manual transmission fluid). it comes in a gray bottle. do use synthetic on a good tranny. only use synthetic, such as redline shockproof, when the synchros are messed up. in these cases, the synthetic/thinner oil will help lubricate the synchros better and get rid of grinding problems.
