It's like that anywhere in the world. There will be groups that will like what their own country produces more, and there will be groups that like what other places around the world produce.

It's not a JDM car... it's more or less JDM-ized. Lowered on some insanely wide JDM style wheels, that sort of JDM.

It just looks odd, so used to Rednecks owning them.

they like all sortsa american shit...

Hey maybe this will get you guys to start calling your cars 240sx's again.....
LMFAO

Japanese guys went through a reverse type JDM trend. We wanted stuff from Japan, they wanted American styled stuff.... even 240sx tail light panels were something wierd and cool to have on a 180sx in japan....

all those people are trying to be like you and your trying to be like them, funny isn't it... grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Muscle cars are in demand in Japan. Vettes, Stangs, F-Bodys, and especially older cars.

I believe the numbers are still highest for america exporting SUVs to japan. The best seller over there a year or two ago and I'm sure it still is probly the best seller was a Suburban (I think) or one of those huge ass SUVs. Personally I hate this SUV trend...and it sucks because it took off at the same time as the sport compact trend so now there are little tiny cars all over the road and this huge hulking death machines ready to kill everyone on their way to soccer practice.

Mmmh, what you're saying is very true, but the Japanese are becoming more and more "Westernized" culturally, if you've ever been there, you'll notice that they love anything and EVERYTHING "American".

The strangest USDM craze in Japan is the Chevy Astros w/ 5 foot long bumpers and like, a million, subs in the back... strange, BUT.. they must think the same of us, I can imagine this "crazy americans, changing his DC2 front end to resemble a mundane S15??!?!?!, he originally had the ROUND!!! headlights and USDM bumper, what a silly person, and he changed his LS and "Acura" emblem to be TYPE R and HONDA... how strange!!"----- YEs..... I know that they sell the round headlight integras (or used to) so STFU!!
