Snow!

Just wanted to tell everyone that its snowing like crazy here, and I couldn't be happier

Went out for a cruse in my car and man its slippery. whereever ppl have been driving theres strips of ice, and its hard to get stopped (thank god I fixed my ABS) or going at stopsigns and lights. Deserted parking lots and quiet streets are fun tho

I cant wait to get my snomobile out, and maybe do a little x-country skiing

Most ppl here are pissed about the snow, but it made my day. Local weather reports say 5-7cm tonight then more tomorrow

I went to a parking lot behind an old warehouse thats closed,and i did donuts for like 2min until i was dizzy

too much fun, driving all sideways n stuff. Its friggin crazy :smoka:

I could count the times I've seen snow on two hands.
I could count the times I've seen it snowing on one hand, without using the fingers.

you're lucky HummerMan, we usually don't get snow down hear till late December

awwww no fair!! I love snow. I used to love it when we were living in England and it snowed at Christmas. Christmas in the middle of Summer just isn’t the same!!

But what is good news, is you are actually happy, which is REALLY GOOD to see!!!!

Ya ill probably end up slamming my car into a pole and dying, but ya it will all have been worth it

Now the question is, if I really want to live through this winter (both me and my car) I need to cancel my other plans to buy stuff, and get some decent rubber. My tires are like slicks, if I try to drive good I still slide around, it makes me look like an ass even more than usuial

The city would have to shut down before they would close the college. In public school and highschool id say we used to get around 3-4 snowdays a yr. So my sis sits at home while i brave the crazy drivers, getting my car stuck in huge drifts and all to find out that the prof decided not to come in that day without notifying anyone

Thats the same here for me.......scary !!!

Hopefully this winter we will take the kids to see some snow as they have never seen it either.

You have snow already!!!! It was pretty warm here today, like 10*C today (warm for this time of year) plus there was like no wind chill.
that's like 50*F for U.S. people

temperatures change so much here... in the winter it can get to like 0* and in the summer it's often around 100*

that is soooooo unfair....you have no idea how unfair it is that you have snow already...where i live we get like NO snow. If we are luck maybe two inches....it really BITES, but i guess it is cool that you get to play in all that white wonder....have fun for me okay buddy :flash:

I hope we don't get as much as last year, we had 8 foot tall snowbanks on either side of the driveway, and we don't own a snowblower......

And let me guess....you had to shovel it, Heep? Honestly, I know what its like :cry:

Last fall bought a snowblower that had a "busted" engine. The V-belt was snapped and the carb needed a rebuild. [The guy was a moron, and I kinda felt like I took advantage] So for less than $200 total, I got a pretty new snowblower that works great

Yep, I hate pushing a scoop with 100 lbs of hard packed snow up to the top of a 8 foot pile....

I love the snow!

I can't wait until we get our first real layer! Go driving around all the idiots who didn't put on snowtires :flash:
