damage
ok, first off i screwed up.... i took a turn too fast the other day, while in a storm, my front left tire blew up and i lost control of the car, i jumped a curve and hit a stop sing. i know i suck, but i honestly tried everything to avoid this accident. i have minor damage to the bumper (needs a spray) but what i am worried about is other things...can this have broken the new clutch i had installed a week ago? cause now when the car decelarates in gear it makes a noise, like a sort of spinning sound...this sound is present in all manual cars but it seems a bit louder now...could i have also screwed up my allignment? or worse? if anyone can tell me anything it would help...i will bring it in to check it out but i at least want an idea of what im up againts...
Thanx guys |

blown tire and jumping the curb could definitely throw the alignment off.
noise could be damage to the front anywhere, I very much doubt it is the clutch damaged, you may have damaged an arm or bearing when the tire blew.

clutch damage?
doubtful...alignment... definately... have the suspension inspected as well although you would know if a control arm was bent... you could have done other structural damage... good luck Jamie www.subiegalracing.com _____________________________________
