Finally got me one

Well, I finally got me a Del Sol. It's a 93 Si. I'm in need of a Glove Box, ash tray, and the flip up cover for the ash tray. I noticed the dude parting out his 97 VTEC, anyone know if the parts are the same?

Also, I have a question- One of the previous owners removed the AC condensor, compressor, and all the tubes/wires involved in the AC. Does anyone have any freakin clue as to why the hell somone would do that? I know AC drains on preformance, but normally you would just turn it off, not remove the whole damn thing

As far as I know, the interior among all the Del Sol's are interchangeable for things like the ashtray (the ashtray and flip cover is one piece), glove box, and the like.

And as for the air conditioner, turning it off isn't always enough for some tuners. They'll remove it to reduce weight. The whole air conditioner system can take quite a bit of weight off the car. Maybe like 60 or so pounds? Something like that I think.

leave it out and get an Air Kondishioner system... flip a switch one way and you have an N/A turbo.. flip it the other way and you have a forced induction supercharger. Beautiful machine. I would get one, but I like my A/C too damn much. If I get my old S model back it's on.

Loopey...everything should fit but the glovebox...'93s didn't have a pass. air bag, so when they added it they had to make the glovebox smaller. your glovebox would be bigger than a '97s.
