dummy light for rear lights?
My dummy light for my rear lights recently came on. I replaced all lights that were burned out but the dummy light won't shut off. How do I reset this or do I need to bring it to the dealer? Thanks

Re: dummy light for rear lights?
I had the same problem with my 1990 Camry. I ended up getting the rear light assembly from a wreck that had them in much better shape. Look at where the light bulb seats and check for corrosion. Now the same light comes on in my 93 Camry. Not certain if its the same problem, but I'll let yo know when I figure it out.

Re: dummy light for rear lights?
Check the third brake light and make sure you have a good connection.

Re: dummy light for rear lights?
Check the trunk's wiring harness for breaks. Fatigue failure is common.
BTW, please refrain from responding to old posts...start a new one instead.
