well i waited awhile to post this cause i thought it was gay

so i was cruisin going to a party and i get off the freeway and turn right and at the next light this pontiac sunfire pulled up with a fart can exhaust, unpainted kit, and a wing

so this light i just drive normal and the kid zooms up and hits the next light, i had my windows down as always bumpin a little bone thugs and i was lookin over at his car and was laughing, he saw me and reved so i reved back, i turned the stereo down and watched the oppisate light and droped it at 3k when the light changed. i got a little jump due to my mad tq (yea right lol) and i just pulled until i hit the limiter at 97 and stopped

i think either he wasnt racing or was an auto or just couldnt drive

but im guessing he wasnt racing, he probally reved to act hard cause he didnt think i would race him

but yea, flag it as bs dont care just wanted to share my story

Was it really necessary to take it to 100mph?

I think if you had stopped it at 60mph you would still proved your point... especially since he didnt seem to race at all.

Sorry, but I just find it a little excessive. Plus I find it hard to believe in a small way... Cause it must of taken you a loonngg time to reach your speed limitor. I can't imagine your Ranger peging the speedometer without having to wind out for a while.
